HRG is precisely the kind of person Adam needs. Peter tends to be burdened by scruples and his own foibles, HRG has none of that.

HRG has no clue about anything right now. He certainly has no clue about Claire escaping with West. Adam saved Bennet, and says that they have to destroy the Company in order for HRG to save Claire from them.

I have a little trouble with this theory. It has been confirmed by Angela that Adam was indeed locked up for 30 years. Given that, it seems unlikely that Adam would have knowledge of how effective Noah is and that he has Claire or even that he knows Claire even exists. This of course does not exclude that Bob and Adam may have been working together in the Peter/Adam dynamic as recently presented to us.

That leaves Bob, Elle or Mohinder as the likely rescuer of Noah or any combination of those three (I do agree with whoever stated that it was likely Mo and another since Mo probably incessantly whined the whole time about having shot him ). My guess is that it was all three, since Bob knows they need Claire.

Regarding Matt, it has been stated that he is becoming self serving (evil?) as demonstrated by his manipulation of first Molly and later his boss and Angela. His command to Molly (imo) was nothing more than a reaction (confirmation?) to his discovery of a new use for his power. Having her eat cereal was certainly a harmless command...shoot, as a father of three I would be using that power all the time on my kids to clean their rooms and rake leaves in the yard !!! His other uses of his new power were a case of "the end justifies the means". While that certainly is not a morally centered trait, I would not go so far as to say he has become amoral.

To me, the most profound discovery was the confirmation that Adam has been locked up for 30 years. This leads to all sorts of unresolved questions. Why was Molly frightened of the "nightmare man" last season? How did Adam cause Maury to do the things he did? How did he kill the others shown in the picture (according to Matt, they are all deceased except for Bob and the Pratt woman, and Angela of course. And Maury is probably still in his own nightmare).
