Ok, to those of us who have been wracking our heads trying to figure this out....
There may be an easier way, but this is what worked for me:
1. Go into My Control Center
2. From your control panel, click on Account Preferences
3. Click on the box that says Custom Signature
4. Make sure the ezCodes radio button is checked. At the right of the ezCodes button you will see a link that says Launch Tool. Click. This will open a window that says Formatting Tool
5. Click on the IMAGE link.
6. In the window, paste in your image URL from Image Shack, photobucket, etc.
7. Click OK to close the window
8. Back in the Formatting tool, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
Your banner should be viewable.
