Interesting tidbit from Ausiello |
Lead | |
|
Ausiello: Someone may be moving in on Mohinder's narrator turf. Tim Kring is said to be seeking an Australian Aboriginal actor in his
fifties to appear in multiple episodes as a storyteller with great wisdom and a soft, soothing voice.

If this works out it would be just what the doctor ordered. The show needs a character with a Obi Wan/ Yoda vibe. But, I don't think he'll have much
luck finding an actor of that type in the US he'll have to go to Australia. This character could be an adult version of Sanjog with similar abilities.

What about the Maori warrior...that would be cool too! (That was the original premise for the Haitian)

Temura Robinson he played Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequel. Then there's Lani Tupu he played Crace on Farscape. Both actors as I recall have Maori
heritage. But of the two I think that Lani Tupu would be a better choice if you've ever seen his work on Farscape he's a better actor plus he's
got a distinctive voice.

Cpt Mafuni from both Matrix sequals would work also. He was the man.

Re: Lufer Igno:
I'll look it up in a few minutes, but I'm pretty sure that was the guy who played Jango Fett. ETA: Nevermind. I'm an idiot. The actor you're thinking of is Nathaniel Lees. He's Samoan. (Some physical resemblence to the guy who played Fett, but not enough that I should have mistaken them. Oh well. My only excuse: I haven't seen either movie in quite a while.)
Mr. Kring, Leave The Pretty Alone, Damn It!

I think they should hire James Earl Jones...just for the voice alone!
