I have heard rumors there is a trailer out there for the film. Haven't been able to locate it yet
ZQ said a while back that this was a multi-movie deal, so if this one is a success there will be more. But I don't think ZQ is willing to jump ship as Sylar just yet. |

I'm not getting a good vibe about this movie. I don't know why. I guess it's Star Trek burnout. And everything I've heard about the storyline
just leaves me cold. With the exception of ZQ as Spock I'm not impressed with the casting choices either.
If they want to get people excited about this movie they need a new trailer that one is cheesy. |

This blurb from Kristen (AKA: Irritating Beeotch!)

Thankfully, producer Bryan Burk meant this in nothing but a good way, talking about our favorite Heroes star (shhh...don't tell) Zachary Quinto's turn as Spock in the upcomign Star Trek blockbuster. Added J.J. Abrams: "Zachary brought a gravity and an incredible sense of humor, which is a wonderful combination because the Spock character is deceivingly complicated. And the revelation for me in watching the movie was that he's extraordinary. He was doing things I didn't even realize while we were shooting. These amazing things that sort of track the story." That symbol was originally just for th Enterprise crew. Each ship in the old show, had their own insignia that was worn on the front of the shirt. Enterprise performed so well, the Federation adopted their insignia for the rest of the fleet. I could be wrong, but that's the way I remember it.

I just hope they don't screw up the original cannon of the Trek story with this rebooting of the series. If they do it right, this could be a new beginning
for the franchise and revitalize it. If they screw it up badly, it could be the final nail in the coffin.

I personally cannot wait to see this movie. I liked everything JJ Abrams has put his mittens on ever since Alias. Bring on an actual trailer please.

I agree. JJ does some fine work, mighty fine work indeed. With a bit of luck, this move could reboot the Star Trek franchise and maybe they wont screw it up
this time around.

The people that really need to stay away from it are Majel Barrett and Rick Berman. I think they did more to screw up the franchise than any one else. I may be
wrong though.

They need a real trailer. The fact that they don't have one yet doesn't bode well for the film as far as I'm concerned. There was considerable buzz
about this when it was announced but that's all died away. Why? Paramount should be promoting this out the wazoo but they're not.
