I like learning to say thank you in different languages. What makes it so frustrating is that I have a whole series of episodes on a non-finalized disk I made on my JVC DVD-RW and now the stupid machine won't even recognize disks I've recorded on it (finalized or not), much less any disks others have made for me. Growl, grumble, snarg. So I'll just wait for August. Sigh. :\

In case anyone is interested, the XBOX 360 will play Blu-Ray movies. We haven't bought a BR movie yet to try it out yet; maybe if we have the $$ Heroes
would be an investment we would want to keep.

My husband keeps trying to talk me into getting a X360. I keep saying NO only because I KNOW myself well enough that i would be spending all my time playing
Zelda. The fact it plays Blu-Ray is another feather in it's cap, but still too rich for my blood.

They have to have to release in the standard DVD format as well as a Hd version. As far as I know, there are no portable players that can ply the higher
def DVD's. These are the types you see in all those cars and-mini vans.
