Vamp, have you gotten Terry Goodkind's "Confessor" yet? I didn't even know it was out and then there it was at work on a shelf at a book sale. It the last in the series. I'm to chapter 9 and I just got it yesterday. So far it is excellent!

Ah the joy of waiting for the next book in the series. Frustrating and fun at the same time.

Lois McMaster Bujold announced at Worldcon (Denvention) that she is working on another Miles Vorkosigan novel! P.N. Elrod is working on a new Vampire Files book, featuring Whitey Khrumb who showed up in the last book. Heaven knows when Katherine Kurtz will put out the third book in her Childe Morgaine series. Elizabeth Peters put out the last of her Vicky Bliss novels, The Laughter of Dead...

I've been reading E.E. Knight's Vampire Earth Series. I like it. I just finished the newest one so I have a while to go before there's another one to read.

There's the Thieves World/Sanctuary novels another series of mosaic novels just as good as the Wild Cards books.

Love the Dragonriders of Pern! My introduction was through the Harper Hall trilogy: Dragonsong, Dragonsinger & Dragondrums. My favorite is Dragonsinger, though I like all of the books. I just found this site too, if you are interested: http://www.pern.nl/

Hmm... excellent idea...let's see...

It says Volume 7...but it's only 7th chronologically...she wrote it first...and the entire series is worth checking out.
